Homemade Hair conditioner

                                                  Homemade Conditioner
MAYO, EGG WHITES & YOGURT CONDITIONER
I know that this homemade hair conditioner sounds disgusting, but it does really work! It’s also going to make your hair look beautiful from the inside out! You can swap out plain yogurt for vanilla to make it smell better and also make sure that you rinse this hair conditioner out in warm water, not hot!
Here’s what you need:
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
egg whites from 1 egg
Seriously, that’s it!
Whip all that deep conditioning goodness around in a bowl, and you’re ready to rock. Lather it onto your hair, focusing on the ends where you’ll likely have the most damage, and make sure to really coat all the strands of hair.
Slap on a shower cap, and turn on your favorite episode of Dancing with the Stars while you wait for the conditioner to work its magic. It needs to sit on your head for about 30 minutes.
Another note: it will drip, which is totally nasty {but worth it in the end!}, so I recommend doing one of two things: tucking tissue or cotton balls around the edges of the shower cap, just like in the good old days of the home perm, or wrapping your head in a wet towel. Your choice.
When you’re all done waiting patiently to see your beautiful conditioned tresses, it’s time to rinse. Rinse really, really, really, REALLY well using LUKEWARM water. Hot water + egg whites = breakfast.
After you rinse you can opt to shampoo your hair, or wait and let the conditioner keep working its glorious magic. It’s your choice, your foxy hair.
                                              HONEY HAIR CONDITIONER
The next homemade hair conditioner that we’re going to talk about is honey hair conditioner! This one smells so much better than the one above and it’s as effective! Just keep in mind some of the ingredients and how much you use, especially if you have naturally oily hair.
1/2 honey (you may substitute any local or organic honey)
4 tablespoons light olive oil (depending on hair type, use lesser amount for oily hair)
In a small bowl, mix together honey and olive oil until full integrated. Pour mixture through a funnel into a plastic bottle with a squeeze top lid.
When ready to use, gently shake mixture and massage into your hair until evenly covered. Cover your head with a shower cap and allow the conditioner to stay on your hair for at least 30 minutes and up to an hour. Shampoo and rinse your hair thoroughly.
                                           COCONUT CONDITIONER FOR OILY HAIR
Coconut oil is one of the few oils that can make your hair not only smell awesome, but also that will make your hair shiny and so, so soft. This coconut oil conditioner is designed specifically for oily hair. It’ll get rid of the excess oil and truly leave your hair feeling so light and natural!
1 cup water
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon of coconut oil (find it in the baking section of a grocery store, health food store, candle store)
A whisk and a bowl
Start by whisking the egg yolk until it becomes frothy, add the coconut oil, and whisk it a little more.
Add the water and then stir it until it becomes smooth. Apply the mix to your hair and scalp, massage it thoroughly then let it rest for 2-5 minutes.
Rinse your hair with clean cool water. Voila! The bonus is great smelling tropical coconut loveliness in your hair.
                                                AVOCADO HAIR CONDITIONER
The next homemade hair conditioner that we’re going to explore is the avocado hair conditioner! Avocados actually are rich in good fats, which means that you’ll have hair that is super shiny, super manageable and totally light and airy! Give this homemade hair conditioner a try ladies, I know you’ll love it!
Here’s what you need:
one avocado
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons heavy cream
Mix all that up, comb it through your gorgeous hair and cover with a shower cap. Now turn on your DVR and catch up on Oprah or your favourite tv series for about 20 minutes while it penetrates deep into your hair follicles. Once you’re well versed in whatever Tom Cruise scandal is brewing, rinse the conditioner out with tepid water. Shampoo {you don’t want to smell like avocado forever}, rinse, and you’re all set.
                                                         COCONUT MILK CONDITIONER
Remember coconut oil? Well, this is actually a coconut milk conditioner! All you need is avocados, coconut oil and coconut milk. That’s it ladies! Just mix all of the ingredients on up and leave on for about 10 – 15 minutes for really deep conditioning!
1 avocado
1 cup of coconut milk
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
Peel, pit, and mash your avocado. Add the coconut milk and coconut oil and mix until smooth. Work this conditioner through your hair (you can let it hang out for 10-15 minutes for deeper conditioning). Rinse and then shampoo. If you’ve never tried conditioning before shampooing, you’re in for a treat!

                                                    SHEA BUTTER HAIR CONDITIONER
Shea butter is one of the few ingredients that will make your split ends go away, that will really make your hair feel thick and beautiful. I love this homemade hair conditioner! It’s a little on the heavy side, so you won’t have to use much!
1 1/3 cups of Shea Butter
½ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
½ ounce fragrance oil (e.g. lavender oil, or rosemary oil)

Heat Shea Butter slowly in a medium saucepan until it has turned into liquid form
Add in the olive oil
Allow mixture to cool for 30-40 minutes. Do not allow it to set completely
Add in the Vitamin E and the Fragrance Oil
Whip mixture until you achieve a light mousse like consistency
Spoon mixture into an airtight container.
                                                      BANANA HAIR CONDITIONER
If you’re looking for a super quick and easy homemade hair conditioner, this one is it! You basically take a few really ripe bananas, puree them and put them on! This recipes works too, my hair feels awesome!
2 or 3 ripe bananas
Puree the banana completely. This is important.
Pour the banana mixture into a glass or bowl.
With your hands, massage the banana puree into your hair.
Relax and wait 15 minutes.
Rinse and shampoo your hair.
